I'm swimming in leftover watercolors, so I used them for the backgrounds and hair in these atc cards.
Making these tree atcs reminds me of when I used to watch (long time ago) Barbara Walters interviews of actresses and actors. She always would ask "If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?" I particularly remember the interview with Clint Eastwood (I was really young) I can't remember what his response was. I think it was oak or maybe a willow.
I've had an exhausting day! I woke up early and checked out atc's for all forum and the alice in Wonderland's atc swap I am in. I'm so shocked because the other people that signed up for the swap are oh so talented! Most of them drew the Alice in Wonderland characters which left me with the feeling of "OH NO." So, I need to do my best.
I'm exhausted because after getting my kids to school, I went to volunteer at my local food shelf. I organized the whole personal hygiene room (they are so low on TP) Then we got a huge shipment in of fresh veggies and fruit from Kowalski's deli and I think Target and maybe Cub. So, I'm tired. But, when I got home, I started on my ALice in Wonderland atc's. Here is my first .......
OK I know this doesn't really look like Alice. The theme is suppose to be Gothic - instead of Gothic I think my Alice looks like a drug addict. I think she looks a bit too innocent as well.
