No Strings Atc card
ATC card made with painted fabric swatches, string, erector metal pieces, sewing machine, leftover paint swatches from my class, and an assortment of painted and collaged papers. Tried to use no glue. (Just a little to hold the round erector piece onto the paper)
These atc's and the previous ones listed are for a swap I am in through one of my yahoo groups. For this swap - we had to use the emboss resist method and the theme is angels, fairies. I'm in way too many swaps I need to stop signing up and start making some things for myself.
Playing card atc.
I collaged a
bunch of papers onto a playing card, painted the background with
acrylics, used Ultra thick embossing enamel with a stamp, dry brushed
yellow acrylic paint over the embossed stamp, ironed the card between
two sheets of paper (to get some of the acrylic off) then used a color
embossing enamel with one of my own stamps. I used my sewing machine to
stitch the sides of the card and added the collaged images.
For this swap we had to use trash items from old art projects for the background. The focal image or embellishments had to be a treasure - like an old photograph or vintage item.
So, I'm in a fabric atc swap. Today a spent a little time on these two.
